Computer Consulting, an independent consulting practice formed in 1987, furnishes a wide range of technical knowledge and skills, hardware and software. While providing the highest caliber assistance and advice for applications employing computers and advanced technologies, Computer Consulting consistently emphasizes personalized and unbiased service at competitive prices.
The practice offers many years of experience in education, research, planning, systems design, acquisition, and customization, equipment selection, and implementation of computer, telecommunications, and electronic systems. Much of this experience is focused directly in the health care sector. Medical computing (especially clinical applications) is one of our specialties.
We work closely with and meet the particular and specific needs of each of our clients. We can work in both Canada and the USA.
Our services include, but are not limited to:
Consulting assignments included teaching a University Extension Division course in MUMPS, providing current information regarding the Canadian health care system for an American newsletter for physicians, technical support for the production of a specialized calendar via Macintosh desktop publishing, MUMPS-based applications on the PC, diet calculations using the Macintosh toolbox, ROM-based SCSI disk drivers for the PC, an SMBG communications program for the PC, and communications programs with systems-level coding for LAT and modem communications on VAX/VMS. More recent work includes general management, web site construction, Unix system establishment, administration, and programming, directed toward creating and maintaining the Great Plains Free-Net Inc.
